📍 How can you reach “Aphrodite Skiathos”?
 
Whether you arrive on the island of Skiathos by boat or by airplane, it only takes a ten minutes ride to reach Aphrodite.
From the airport: Upon your arrival you will need to get a TAXI or the local bus to reach Aphrodite (inform the driver about the bus stop that you will be getting off). We are located at Megali Ammos (bus stop no5), just 4km away from the airport terminal.
From the port: If you arrive at the port of Skiathos you can either take a taxi to Aphrodite or walk to the bus terminal (400 meters from the port) and find us at bus stop no5.
Arriving with your own car/motorbike: Follow the main road to Koukounaries and find us at Megali Ammos beach on your left hand. Check map route here:

🚗 Do you have a parking space?
 
We have a small parking space for 4-5 cars. Since spaces are not reserved, parking is done on a first come, first served basis.

 
 
🗝️ Check-IN
 
Upon your arrival you are kindly asked to stop at the reception to receive your key and provide us with all the necessary documents for your check in.
If you have filled the online check in form we can skip this part and ensure you a fast check in.
Check in time is set at 15:00. So if you need an early check in, please inform us and we will notify you if it is possible the day before your arrival. If an early check in is not possible you can always leave your luggage at the reception and start enjoying the island while your room is being prepared.

 
 
🛎️ Reception Hours
 
You will find us everyday at the reception from 9:00 to 15:00. If you arrive later than 15:00 in the evening please inform us and we will be here to welcome you. In case of emergency you can always contact us via the telephone number indicated on the reception door.

 
 
🧹 Housekeeping
 
Housekeeping service is daily (9:00 to 15:00) whereas bed linens and towels are changed twice a week (or after three nights of stay). During cleaning guests are not present in the room. If you do not want your room cleaned on a specific day you can always use the “Do Not Disturb” sign you will find on your room.

☕🍽️ Please note that kitchen area and kitchen utensils such as plates, cups, and cookware, are not included in the cleaning service.

 
 
🚾 The awkward restroom request
 
Please do not throw toilet paper or other sanitary items in the toilet. Simple explanation: greek sewage pipes are small in diameter and clogging may occur.
We kindly ask you to use the bin provided in the bathroom.

 
 
🚱 Water
 
Tap water in Skiathos is not suitable for drinking or cooking even after boiling. So upon arrival you will find a bottle of water in your fridge. You can buy bottled water from the mini markets in the area.

 
 
📱 WiFi
 
WiFi is available in every room and free of charge. You can find the username and password you need to connect to our network on a small picture frame on the dressing table in your room. Different rooms connect to different networks so make sure you chose the one on your frame.

 
 
📺🚫🙅‍♂️ Streming TV Netflix, Amazon etc.
 
Streaming TV shows through platforms like Netflix and Amazon TV via HDMI connections is not allowed due to limited network speed. With the island’s restricted network capabilities, streaming content might result poor network access to other guests of our accommodation.

 
 
❄️🆒 A/C Air Condition
 
All studios/rooms are equipped with air condition for the hot summer days. For safety, environmental and power saving reasons the air condition will stop operating when you are not in the premises or when doors and windows are open. This is a house rule that we ask you to respect.

 
 
🔌 Electricity
 
Upon entering your room, you need to place the white plastic card attached to your key in the appropriate slot next to the door. Removing the card when leaving the room will automatically turn off power after a few minutes (while the fridge will still be operating). For safety reasons you are kindly asked to remove the card from the socket every time you leave the room. This is a house rule that we ask you to respect.

 
 
🧳 Check-OUT
 
Check out time is set at 11:00. If you need to request a late check out please notify us upon arrival and we will inform you if your room is available for a late check out the day before your departure. In case you need to check out at 11:00 but you leave the island later in the evening you can always leave your luggage at the reception till your departure time and enjoy the island for a few more hours.

 
 
🚕 TAXIs on the island
 
In case you need a TAXI to visit a place on the island or to take you to the port/airport on your departure date we strongly advice you to arrange it a day before. On the busy days you may have a hard time finding a TAXI on the last minute. We can provide you with the numbers of the TAXI drivers to make the arrangements yourself or we can contact them and set the appointment at the requested time on your behalf.

 
 
ℹ️ Good to know
 

Following a directive from EU Banks, 500 bills and 200 bills are not accepted in shops and transactions: 500 Euro banknotes are taken out of circulation
